To enable newsletters for your subscribers go to your channel document ("More / Admin / Edit channel") and turn on the "Enable missed articles emails" switch. This will show a number of fields, some required and some optional, that are needed in order to start sending:
- Company / Address - this information is required by many jurisdictions to be included with the email.
- Website / Social Media - if provided, these links will be included at the bottom of the newsletter with the appropriate icons.
- Reply to email - if the recipient clicks "reply" in their email client, this is the address that will be used.
- Sequential by folder - when enabled, this will treat sequential articles in different folders as separate streams and will active the next item in the folder as the current one is read. This means that more than one sequential article can be active at the same time and is useful for sequences covering different topics. If this is NOT enabled then only ONE sequential article will be activated at a time, regardless if it is in a folder or is an individually flagged article. By default this is not set.
- No intro paragraph in newsletters - by default, newsletters include a paragraph at the top that says "Hi xxx, This is your personalized "Missed Articles" newsletter...". Enabling this flag will prevent this paragraph from appearing and the first article will be at the top.
- Intro paragraph - To customize the top of newsletter paragraph enter a message here. It can be personalized with {{ firstName }} and {{ lastName }} tags (include the curly brackets). If you have uploaded an image to a hosting service (ie. Google drive) you can include it here using markdown.
Personal Signature
If you have uploaded a personal signature scan image to your profile document it will be added to the bottom of your "Welcome messages":

Additional Notes
- Domain - if a domain is specified on the channel document, it will be used in the "from" address of the newsletters. Otherwise, "newsletter@kuloo.com" will be used. For some email clients, using a domain will cause them to display a message similar to "on behalf of...".
- Testing - to verify that your newsletters will work and to see what they will look like, use the bottom left "More" button and select "Example newsletter". This will assemble a sample newsletter and send it to you (no flags will be updated).
