Types of notifications

Depending what type of user you are, you will see different levels of notifications. Each of the roles listed below receive all the notifications of the prior listed roles:

Regular users

• approved articles: new, updated, deleted.
• approved comments: created, updated.
• all reactions to articles and comments.
• notification when a site parsing fix request has been handled.

Authors

• your articles: read, updated, approved, rejected, deleted, liked, unliked, saved, unsaved.
• comments on your articles: new, updated, approved, deleted.
• channel submission: approved, rejected.
• your ads: approved, rejected, deleted.

Approvers

• unapproved articles: new, updated, submitted, deleted.
• unapproved comments: new, updated, approved, deleted.

Admins or channel owners

• articles opened.
• your channel: subscribed, unsubscribed.
• your app: logins, new user registrations.

Notifications generated by your own actions generally do not appear for you. This can be overridden by setting the flag "show notifications generated by yourself" on your profile document.
