As the administrator of your channel you may want to allow some or all of your subscribers to submit articles. There are two aspects to submission privileges. First, who gets access, either individuals or everyone. Second, what they get access to. Either the full channel or one or more folders.
Full channel
To give access to the full channel and all folders:
- From your main channel screen open your channel document by clicking the "More" button on the bottom left.
- In the popup click "Edit channel".
- Scroll down to the "Author access" field.
- Enter a comma separated list of email addresses OR "everyone".
- Scroll to the bottom and click the submit button.
For particular folder
To give access only to a particular folder:
- From your main channel screen double click or long tap on the particular folder.
- Click "Edit folder".
- Scroll down to the "Author access" field.
- Enter a comma separated list of email addresses OR "everyone".
- Scroll to the bottom and click the submit button.
Now your subscribers will be able to create articles in exactly the say way that you can. This includes importing by url.
Approving
The articles your subscribers create have the "draft" status so they will not be publicly visible until you approve them. If you want to avoid this step you can also make them "approvers" by listing their email addresses in the "Approvers" field on the same channel or folder documents.
Use the extension
Make sure that you have the Kuloo Chrome extension installed so you can easily see when there are articles for you to approve. Encourage your new authors to use install and use the extension to make it easier for them to contribute.
